USA today states in this article that younger generations are more willing to pay a premium for healthier food. This wave of youngsters are more concerned about what they put in their mouths, and they are actively trying to prevent age related diseases with diet. However, there is still a long way to go before we reach sustainable agriculture practices and revert to using basic ingredients in the food we buy at stores and restaurants. And it will be even longer before the trace minerals return to our soil. But progress is progress. Still think millennials are silly? They've got at least one investment right.
